Measurements in nature – what is highest mountain in world? deepest sea/ocean? etc question/answer with children.
Measuring the Children
choose volunteers from big/middle/small kids to show widest/least arm spread; maybe also big/small feet (demonstrate at front)
Measure around a globe with tape measure – but the real one is huge! but
