Aim
To show that God wants us to have life in all it's fullness.
Introduction
Ask the children what will be taking place in town next week? (the fair is coming)
Ask who will be going and maybe what favourite rides are.
Ask if anyone knows the origin of the May Fair and briefly explain history of the event.
Talk to children about the fact that we enjoy celebrations, ask what events/times we celebrate.
This morning we are going to think about a special wedding celebration that our friend will tell us all about.

I do too and I have a bit of a party trick that will amaze you!! Who wants to see it?

I'm going to read an account from the bible about Jesus attending a wedding.
Reflection
Show the children a bottle of "value" brand coke and a bottle of Coca Cola. Ask which they would prefer to drink?
Explain that was a trick.
What Jesus did at the wedding feast was a real miracle. Water actually became wine.
Coca Cola used to advertise that it is "the real thing". Well Jesus is the real thing. No cheap alternative but absolutely the Son of God, and he wants us to enjoy life, have life in abundance. He wants us to celebrate weddings, birthdays etc but most of all he
wants us to celebrate Jesus – The Real Thing!
